Shri Biswakarma Traders

Our shop is located at number 6 on Krittibas Mukherjee Road. If you know the Daspara area, it’s not too hard to find us. Pearabagan is a busy spot, and there’s always something happening out on the street. We’ve been operating out of this space for quite a while now. The building is one of those older ones with thick walls, which helps a bit when it gets really humid outside in the summer. We keep the main trading floor mostly clear, but there are always boxes stacked up somewhere. It’s just how it goes when you’re dealing with traders and moving goods every day. Usually, the morning starts with checking what came in overnight. It’s often a mess of receipts and lists on the table until someone sorts them out around noon. My brother usually handles the phone calls while I stay in the back checking the inventory. We have a small fan that rattles a lot, but it does the job. People from around the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to chat or ask about the weather. It’s a local kind of place, nothing like those big corporate offices you see in the city center. We just focus on getting the orders right and making sure the lorries can pull up without blocking the whole road. Sometimes the rain makes the street a bit muddy, but we manage just fine. It is just a regular trade business in a busy neighborhood.
