SHIVDURGA PLY AND LAMINATES LLP

Our shop is tucked away on Gangadhar Babu Lane. If you know the Sankaritola area in Kolkata, you know the streets are narrow and always crowded. We are on the ground floor at number 16. It is a tight space but we manage to fit a lot of plywood and laminates inside. We’ve been here for some time now. Dealing with wood is what we know. People come in looking for different thicknesses of ply for their cupboards or beds. We have the fancy laminates too, the ones with different colors and textures. It gets dusty inside with all the loading and unloading. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Usually, it is just us talking to customers and showing them the sheets. Sometimes someone wants a specific brand or a waterproof grade, and we check the piles. Moving those heavy sheets in these lanes is a task, believe me. The handcarts and small vans are always lining up outside. It is noisy and hectic but that is just how business goes in this part of town. We just focus on getting the right sheets to the people who need them for their home interiors. No big talk, just plain selling of wood and laminate supplies to whoever walks through the door. We aren't trying to be the biggest store, just the one that has what the local carpenters are looking for that day.
