Eastern Aluminium

Our shop is inside Aminia Mansion, right on the first floor. If you know where the Jyoti Cinema is on Lenin Sarani, we’re just opposite that. It’s a busy part of Dadar West, so there’s always something happening outside on the street. We deal with aluminium frames and sections all day long. The office is a bit cramped because we have samples and pieces of metal leaning against the walls in every corner. It’s not the most organized place, but it works for us. We get a lot of walk-in traffic from people looking for window frames or shop fittings. Sometimes it’s hard to hear over the noise from the street, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We’ve got a small team, and most of us have worked together for years. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we cut pieces to size or talk to customers about their measurements. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don’t use any fancy software for the designs; we mostly write things down in a big ledger book. Being in Aminia Mansion is convenient, even if the building is a bit old and the stairs are steep. We just try to get the orders right and make sure folks get what they came for. It’s a simple setup, and we’re here most days until the sun goes down and we lock up.
