Saicon Hardware

Our shop is over at 53/1 Central Road in Jadavpur. It’s a fairly straightforward place. We have been selling hardware items here for quite a long time. If you walk down Central Road, you’ll see our sign. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of tools, screws, and all the bits people need for fixing things at home. We aren't a big chain store or anything like that. Saicon Hardware is just a local business run by people who live nearby. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk, while other days everyone seems to need a specific type of pipe or a bag of cement at the same time. The space is a bit tight because we try to keep as much as possible on hand. You might have to wait a minute if we're digging something out from the bottom of a crate. We don't go in for big displays or bright lights. It's mostly just practical stuff. The floor is usually a bit dusty from the materials, but that’s how a hardware store is supposed to look. Jadavpur is a good area to be in because there’s always someone building or repairing something. We know many of the faces that come through the door. It’s been our routine for years now, just opening up in the morning and seeing what people need that day. We have our regulars who come by for a chat too.
