You’ll find us on the second floor of 50 Sir Hariram Goenka Street. We are in Room A-14. It’s a solid building, though the elevator can be a bit temperamental, so we often just take the stairs. The office isn't very large, but it fits our desks and the samples we keep on the shelves. We deal with a lot of imports and exports, mostly managing the documents that go along with them. It’s a lot of reading fine print and making sure the stamps are in the right places. The street outside is always crowded with vendors and carts, which makes getting deliveries in a bit of a challenge. We’ve learned to time things for the early morning. There’s a certain way we do things here that might seem old-fashioned to some, but it works for us. We don't use fancy software for everything; sometimes a pen and paper are just faster. We have a lot of regular people we work with who know how we operate. We don't promise things we can't do. If a shipment is going to be late because of the weather or the docks, we just say so. It’s better to be honest than to make up excuses. Most days are just about chipping away at the to-do list until it’s time to lock up and head home. We usually check the locks twice just to be sure.
