Excel Import Pvt. Ltd.

We have been working out of this space in Sikkim Commerce House for a while now. You can find us up on the 2nd floor at 4/1 Middletown Street. It’s usually pretty busy here with papers everywhere and the phone ringing more than we’d like. The office isn’t anything fancy, just a bunch of desks and some old cabinets where we keep everything organized. Excel Import Pvt. Ltd. is basically just a group of us trying to get through the daily pile of work. Some days the lift works and some days it doesn’t, so we end up taking the stairs a lot. The street outside is always noisy with cars and people heading to different offices in the building. We spend most of our time staring at screens or talking to people about shipments. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons but we have some fans that keep things moving. We don't really do much in terms of decorating. Most of the walls are covered with calendars or notes we’ve scribbled to ourselves so we don't forget things. There is always a smell of tea from the small pantry in the corner because someone is always making a fresh pot. It’s a plain place but it works for what we need to do every day. We just focus on getting the imports sorted and making sure everything is where it should be before we head home.
