Our place is over at IB-25 Sector-III Salt lake. It’s basically where everything happens for Padia Impex Pvt. Ltd. We aren't really into the whole corporate lifestyle with the suits and the long meetings that go nowhere. Most of the time, we’re just here in the office trying to stay on top of the orders. Salt Lake is okay, though the humidity can be a real pain during the summer months. We’ve got a few desks, some old filing cabinets, and enough coffee to keep us going through the afternoon slump. It’s not a quiet place, usually there’s someone talking or a printer going off in the corner. We spend a lot of time double-checking numbers. Errors happen if you aren't careful, so we try to keep an eye on things. It’s a small team, so everyone knows everyone’s business. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you're basically walking right into the middle of the work. Sometimes we order lunch from the place down the street and just eat at our desks while we talk about the day. It’s a simple setup, really. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and head home when the sun goes down. It's just a regular local business doing its thing. We’ve been here for years and the walls are starting to show it, but we don't mind much.
