Veejay Impex

We’ve been here at No. 548 Jessore Road for a while now. The post office in Shyam Nagar is right nearby, which is handy for us when we need to send things out. Life at Veejay Impex is pretty straightforward. We come in early, check what needs doing, and just get on with it. It’s a busy stretch of road, always lots of noise and people moving about outside. Sometimes the traffic is a bit much, but you get used to it after a few months. Inside our space, things are usually piled up or being sorted out. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, boxes, and people talking on phones all day. My cousin helps out sometimes when things get really hectic during the peak season. We drink a lot of tea while we work to keep our energy up. The building itself is older, but it does the job and keeps the rain off our heads. You’ll find us easily if you look for the spot near the Post Office. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, we just want to do right by the people who come to see us. Some days are slow, others we can barely catch our breath. That’s just how it goes in this part of town. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and it feels like a real community here. It’s not a fancy life, but we get to talk to all sorts of people who pass by.
