Global Trading Company

Our office is on the ground floor at 6a Clive Row. Clive Row is a very famous street for business, but it’s also very crowded and old. Our building has those thick walls that keep the heat out a bit, which is good in the summer. We’ve been here for a long time. We do trading, which means a lot of different things depending on the day. Sometimes we are dealing with textiles, sometimes other stuff. It just depends on what’s moving. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything. It’s just desks, a few old chairs, and a lot of paper. We use computers now, of course, but there’s still a lot of paper in this business. We don't really do any advertising. People just know where we are. We have some regulars who have been coming to us for decades. We just try to be fair and do the work right. It’s a busy life, but we like it. The street outside is always full of people carrying boxes and shouting, but inside it’s a bit calmer. We don't have a big corporate structure. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to me or one of the two other guys here. We just keep things moving along. It’s an old-fashioned way of doing things, maybe, but it works for us.
