Seema Tutorials

Seema Tutorials is tucked away at 6/C Jagabandhu Boral Lane. We are quite near the Marwari Relief Society, which is a well-known landmark in this part of Kolkata 700007. The lane is a bit narrow, but once you find us, it’s a nice little spot. I’ve been running this for several years now. It’s not a fancy office. We have a few rooms that we’ve filled with benches and whiteboards. I usually get here early to set things up before the students arrive in the afternoon. Most of the kids live within walking distance, so the place feels like a neighborhood hub. We don't have a big philosophy or mission statement. We just help with school subjects and try to make sure everyone passes their exams with decent marks. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use emergency lights, but the kids are used to it and we just keep talking. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. I handle the teaching and my sister helps with the scheduling and talking to the parents. We are just regular people providing a service that seems to be needed around here. It’s a bit cramped when all the classes are full, but we manage. It’s just our daily life in the lane. We don't overthink it, we just show up and get through the lessons together.
