Scope Tutorials is tucked away at 12 Entally Road. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with the buses and the rickshaws passing by. Our entrance is right there on the street, and we’ve been here for a good while now. The place isn't very big, but we managed to fit enough benches for the students who come by every afternoon. The air in the rooms is usually a bit dusty because of all the paper and books we have lying around, but we try to keep it tidy. I'm usually the one who opens the locks in the morning. It’s a lot of routine work, checking the lights and making sure the drinking water container is full. Being in the 700014 zip code means we get a lot of local families stopping in to ask about timings. The walls are painted a pale yellow that’s starting to peel a bit near the ceiling, but nobody really minds. We focus on the work on the boards. There’s a small shop next door that sells snacks, so the students usually go there during their 15-minute breaks. It’s a very local feel here. Nothing like those big corporate centers you see in the malls. We just provide a place for kids to sit and learn their subjects. It’s a bit cramped when everyone shows up at once, but we make it work somehow.
