We are based at Plot No-33/1672 on CR Naidu Lane. It’s right there on the canal road near the College Square area. The Malgodown police station is the local landmark for us. If you know the canal road, you know it stays quite busy with all sorts of transport and trucks moving through. Our foundation is just tucked away in one of these plots. It’s a bit of a dusty area sometimes because of all the movement, but we don’t mind. We have a small space where we keep all our supplies and records. Being near College Square means there’s always a lot of energy around, though the canal road side is a bit more industrial. We don’t have any polished lobby or a receptionist at a glass desk. It’s just us and our chairs. Usually, someone is making tea or checking the mail while we discuss what to do. We spend a lot of time coordinating things from here. The address is easy to find if you follow the canal. We’ve been at this spot for a while, and the local shopkeepers know us. It’s a very straightforward place to work. There’s no marketing here, just regular people trying to keep the health foundation running. We work through the heat and the rain. Sometimes the water levels in the canal get high during monsoon, but we stay dry in the office. It’s a humble spot for the kind of work we do.
