Sankalpa Micro Service Foundation

Sankalpa Micro Service Foundation is based in Barovita village. It’s quite a way out in Cooch Behar, near the Domukha post office. We are part of the Mathabhanga area, which is a quiet spot in West Bengal. Our office is small and simple. We started this because we wanted to help people with small services that they couldn't get elsewhere. It’s mostly about being there for the local farmers and families who live around Nayarhat. We don't have fancy equipment. Usually, it's just us and a few notebooks. The roads can be dusty, and it takes time to get from one place to another, but we don't mind the travel. We know almost everyone in Barovita by name. It’s a very local thing. We don't try to act like we are from the city. We talk like everyone else and we work like everyone else. Sometimes the rains make it hard to get any work done, but we wait it out. It’s a patient kind of life. We are just trying to make things a little easier for the people in the Kotwali police station area. There’s no big mystery to what we do. We just show up every day and see what's on the schedule. It’s a good way to live, being useful to your neighbors. It might not be much, but it matters to us.
