Sands

We are over at Sands, which you can find on Karaya Road in Kolkata. Specifically, the office is up on the second floor of 100B. It is one of those spots in West Bengal where the street noise reaches you even through the glass. To get to us, you just head into the building and take the stairs up. We have been here for a bit now and the space works for what we do. The 700019 area is usually pretty busy during the day. Sometimes the mail takes a while to get here, but that is just how things go. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, especially by the windows, so we keep the fans going mostly. There is not much of a view, just the other buildings and people going about their business downstairs. It is a straightforward setup really. No fancy lobby or anything like that. Just some desks and chairs where we get through the daily tasks. If you are looking for us, look for the 100B number near the corner. Kolkata can be a maze if you do not know where you are going, but Karaya Road is a main enough strip. We try to keep things organized but sometimes papers pile up. That is life in a working office, I guess. We do not have many visitors, but when someone stops by, we usually have some tea or water handy. It is just a plain, regular place to work.
