You can find us in Newtown, at the Sukhobrishti complex. Our specific spot is in Block D-316, Flat 0301. It’s a huge residential area in AA-III, and sometimes people get a bit lost trying to find the right building. Spandan is the name associated with this part. Being in Newtown means we are surrounded by these tall buildings and wide roads, which is a big change from the older parts of Kolkata. We are way up on the third floor. The view from the window is mostly other similar blocks of flats. It’s very quiet inside, almost too quiet compared to the rest of the city. The flat has that new-build feel, with straight walls and standard fittings. We’ve turned the main living area into our primary work zone. There are files stacked on the shelves and a few computers set up on the tables. The 700135 pin code is our little corner of Parganas North. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here if you’re coming from the south, but once you’re in Sukhobrishti, it feels like its own little world. We spend a lot of time here, mostly just focused on the tasks at hand. It’s a clean, functional space that serves its purpose for us every single day. There is a lot of wind on the higher floors, which is nice in the evening.
