Samanta Rest Point Hotel

Our hotel, Samanta Rest Point Hotel, is situated at 95/A-2, E 7, K 1, within the Basundhara Complex. That address is a bit of a mouthful, but we are basically in the Chingrighata area of Salt Lake. You can find us by looking for Canal South Road, which is right near the EM Bypass. It is a busy spot because the bypass carries so much traffic through Kolkata. We offer rooms for people who need a place to stay for a night or two. The building is part of a larger complex, so there are other businesses around us too. We don't have a lobby with marble floors or anything like that. It is just a desk where you check in and then head to your room. We try to keep things quiet for the guests, though the sound of the city is always there in the background. Most of the people who stay with us are here for work or visiting family in the Salt Lake area. We see a lot of travelers coming in late at night from the bypass. The staff here is just a few local guys who handle the cleaning and the front desk. We don't use any fancy systems. We just write things down and make sure the rooms are ready when people arrive. It is a simple, practical place to sleep without any unnecessary extras. We have been here for a while and just keep things running.
