Saltlake Academy

Being over here at I A 229 in Sector 3 puts us right in the middle of everything, especially with Saltlake Stadium Gate No 1 so close by. You can often hear the noise when there is a big match or an event going on, which keeps the energy up around Saltlake Academy. We have been in this spot for a while now and it feels like home. The space is set up to be functional. We aren't really into having a polished, corporate look because that just isn't us. Instead, we have chairs, tables, and what we need to get through the daily tasks. Students and parents come by quite often since we are easy to reach in this part of Kolkata. The neighborhood is mostly quiet during the day until the afternoon rush hits. We just open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a very grounded way of doing things. No fancy slogans or complicated talk here. We just deal with people one on one and try to be helpful where we can. If you are walking around Sector 3, you will probably see our sign. It is a plain place where we focus on the books and the lessons. We like the fact that it’s a local spot where people feel okay just walking in to ask a question without feeling intimidated. It is just a normal school atmosphere.
