Saha Rubber Industries

We are located on the second floor of the commercial building at 135-A, B. R. B. Basu Road. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, especially when we’re carrying samples. The building is right in the middle of a very busy commercial area. We've been here for a long time, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint. We mostly deal with the administrative side of rubber manufacturing here, while the actual heavy work happens elsewhere. It’s a small office, mostly filled with filing cabinets and a few desks that have seen better days. I’ve worked here since I was a young man. We know most of the other tenants in the building, and we often share a quick greeting in the hallway. The windows look out over the street, which is always noisy with cars and people selling things. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans running at full speed. We don't have a big fancy reception area. If you come to see us, you’ll just walk straight into where we’re working. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We just try to keep our records straight and our customers happy without any extra fuss. Sometimes the mail gets delivered to the wrong floor, but we just walk it down to whoever it belongs to. It’s a good community.
