S. K. Enterprises

You can find S. K. Enterprises right at the corner of Canning Street and Clive Row. We are on the first floor of No. 21-C. Being in this part of town means it is always noisy outside with all the traders and lorries moving about. Our office is a simple one. We have been here for years, dealing with whatever comes our way in the market. The building is old, like most things around Canning Street, and the stairs are a bit steep if you aren't used to them. We spend our mornings just opening the shutters and checking what needs to be done with the stock or the ledgers. It is a lot of back-and-forth with other businesses nearby. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist. Usually, you just walk in and find one of us sitting at a wooden desk surrounded by samples or boxes. It's a very hands-on kind of business. We know most of the neighbors on Clive Row. Sometimes we share a tea while talking about the day's prices and the weather. It’s a gritty, hardworking area. We do our best to keep things organized despite the chaos of the wholesale market outside. No. 21-C has seen a lot of changes over the years, but we just keep doing what we do every day. It’s just a basic enterprise running out of a first-floor room. We don’t make a big fuss about things, just get the orders ready.
