You can find Roy & Karmakar Associates at 12-A/3 in Deshbandhu Nagar. It’s a nice enough neighborhood, fairly peaceful compared to the city center. Our office is a simple setup with a few desks, some old wooden cabinets for filing, and a lot of pens that always seem to go missing. We’ve been working from this spot for quite some time now. Deshbandhu Nagar has its own charm, with small shops and people who have lived here for decades. We usually have the windows open when the weather allows, although the street noise can be a bit much sometimes. We spend our days going through documents and talking to clients who come by for meetings. There is a lot of reading and checking details involved in what we do. It’s quiet work for the most part, punctuated by the sound of the printer or someone knocking on the door. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and maps. Most of our time is spent sitting at the desks and trying to keep up with all the paperwork. Sometimes we go out for a walk around the block just to clear our heads. It’s a basic, functional office where we just get the job done without any fuss. It feels like a real part of the local community here.
