Roland Hotel

We’ve been at 28 A on Rowland Road for a while now. If you know this part of town, you know it stays pretty busy most days. Our building isn't some brand new glass tower or anything like that, but it's sturdy and we try to keep it looking decent for everyone who walks through the doors. The staff here are mostly local folks who have been around long enough to know the shortcut to just about anywhere in the 700020 area. When you walk in, you’ll probably see someone fixing a light or moving luggage around the lobby area. It’s not always perfectly quiet because of the street noise, but that’s just life in this city. We spend a lot of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and that the plumbing behaves itself, which is a full-time job in an older place. We don’t have those fancy automatic check-in machines, so you’ll actually have to talk to one of us at the desk. Sometimes the elevator takes an extra second, and we might be out of a specific tea brand for a morning, but we’re honest about what we have. It’s a practical place to stay if you need to be near this side of the city. We just focus on getting the basics right, like clean sheets and making sure the water is hot when you need a shower. Nothing more, nothing less.
