Ritwik Sir

Ritwik Sir is located at Ad Block 57 in Kolkata, right near the Kwality Bus Stand. If you live in Salt Lake Sector 1, you probably know that bus stand well. It’s a busy spot with people always getting on and off the buses at all hours. Being at 700064 makes it very convenient for students who are traveling from other blocks or even from outside Salt Lake. The setup here is quite simple. It’s a home-based teaching environment where things are relaxed but focused. We don’t have a big office or a reception area. Most of the time, I’m just sitting at the table with a few students, going through their notes and explaining things. The sounds from the bus stand filter in sometimes, like the horns and the shouting, but it’s not too bad. It feels more like a personal mentorship than a big school or a corporate institute. We don’t have any fancy equipment, just the basics like pens, paper, and the necessary books. The students usually come by after their regular school hours, so the evenings are when this place really comes alive with activity. It’s been this way for a long time. I like being in this part of town because it’s easy to get to for everyone. There isn’t any corporate polish here; it’s just a room where learning happens. We take things one day at a time and try to help the kids.
