Our office is over on Bidhan Sarani in Kolkata. We are on the second floor, specifically in Flat 2A of building number 138. It’s one of those older parts of the city where things feel a bit more lived in and authentic. We work on risk stuff, mostly looking at numbers and various data things for other businesses that need that help. It’s surprisingly quiet inside the flat even though the street outside is always noisy with buses and people going about their morning. We have a few desks and some old computers set up in the rooms. We aren't a giant firm with hundreds of employees in suits. It's just a handful of us making sure everything stays on track for the clients. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow or doesn't work at all so we just take the stairs to the second floor. It’s part of the charm of working in North Kolkata, I guess. Being here means we are close to the markets and everything we need. We don't have a big neon sign outside or anything like that, just the small door number. We spend a lot of time on phone calls or staring at spreadsheets until our eyes get tired. It's honest work. If you're looking for us, look for the building right across from the local shops. We've been at this address for a while and we know the other tenants well. It’s just a regular workplace.
