RiseX Ventures LLP

We are tucked away on the sixth floor of a building on Wood Street. It is Flat-16, if you are looking for RiseX Ventures LLP. The elevator is one of those old ones that takes forever, so sometimes we just take the stairs if we are feeling energetic, though six floors is a lot in the Kolkata heat. Our space is pretty basic. We have some chairs that don't match and a big table where most of the stuff happens. Wood Street is a bit quieter than the main roads, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate on a Tuesday afternoon. There is a small window that looks out over the rooftops. You can see the city stretching out from up here. We spend a lot of time just sitting at our laptops. Usually, there is a half-empty box of biscuits sitting somewhere. It is not a place with shiny glass walls or anything. It is just a work space. A few of us have been together here since the start. We don't really do the whole corporate dress code thing. Most days it is just jeans and a shirt. We stay late sometimes when there is a lot to do, and the building gets really quiet then. It feels like our own little corner of the world. We just handle what comes our way and try to keep things organized without making it too complicated for ourselves every single day.
