Reshmi Basu Coaching Centre

Reshmi Basu Coaching Centre is located on Baruipara Lane, which is over in the Kolkata 700035 zip code. If you know the area, you know the streets can be a bit of a maze sometimes. We have been in this building for a while now. It’s a modest place with a couple of rooms that we use for classes throughout the week. The walls are painted a pale yellow, though they could probably use a fresh coat soon. We have a few benches that have been here since we opened. Students come in from the nearby schools, and the place usually smells a bit like old books and chalk dust. We don't really do much in the way of fancy advertisements or anything like that. Usually, people just hear about us from a neighbor or a friend. It's a bit of a climb up the stairs, which can be tiring when it's humid outside. During the monsoon, the rain hits the windows quite hard, and we have to make sure everything is shut tight. It is just a local coaching center where we try to get through the syllabus without making things too complicated. We spend a lot of time sitting here, checking notebooks and talking about different subjects. There is a small window that looks out onto the street, and we sometimes watch the world go by between lessons. It’s a very straightforward life, just coming in every day and doing what needs to be done for the students who show up.
