Rasathi Consultancy Services is up on the 4th floor of Sushma Apartment in Bangur Avenue, Block-B. It’s a nice enough building, though the stairs can be a bit much if the lift is acting up, which happens once in a while. We’ve been here in this part of Kolkata for a bit, doing our consultancy work. The apartment has been converted into an office, so it still has a bit of a homey feel to it. We have a few rooms where we keep our computers and all the records we have to maintain. It’s a quiet place to work, usually. Bangur Avenue is a bit more relaxed than the main city center, which we appreciate. We spend our days going through data and helping people understand the rules and regulations they need to follow. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s necessary for businesses. We are just a small LLP, so everyone does a bit of everything. There’s no one person who just sits at a desk and tells others what to do. We all pitch in. Sometimes we stay late to finish something up, and other days we leave a bit early if things are slow. It’s a flexible way to run a business. We don't have a big polished image, just a commitment to doing the work we said we would do for the folks who come here.
