Raka Micro Service Foundation

Raka Micro Service Foundation is out in Nadia district. We are based in a village called Purbabishnupur. You have to look for Santosh Adhikary’s house to find where we operate. It is a rural setting, very different from the noise of Kolkata. Here, things are determined by the seasons and the crops. We set this up because we saw a need for micro services in our own backyard. It is not a flashy business. We don't have neon signs or big posters. It is just a modest room with the basic necessities. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit on the porch and wait for it to come back. That is just how village life goes. Most of our neighbors are people we have known since we were kids. They come by not just for business, but often just to say hello. We keep our records in simple ledgers and try to stay organized. It is hard work sometimes, especially when you have to travel between different villages on a motorbike. But we are used to it. The dust and the heat are just part of the job. We don't have any big plans to move to a city. We are happy right here in Purbabishnupur, doing what we can with what we have. It’s a honest way to spend the day.
