Rajarathnam Farms

Rajarathnam Farms is located at 135J, N. S. C. Bose Road. This is over in the Haridevpur area of Tollygunge. It’s a busy part of the city but our spot has its own pace. We handle things related to the farm and it keeps us busy from the crack of dawn. The address is easy to find if you know Tollygunge. We have a gate that stays open during the day so people can come in and out. There’s usually someone around the yard or in the small office area near the front. We have some trees around which helps keep the place a bit cooler during the hot months. Most of our work is physical and doesn't involve sitting at a computer all day. We are more comfortable out in the field or checking on the stock. Our neighbors are mostly other local businesses and families who have lived here for generations. We aren't a big industrial outfit. It’s more of a family-run feel where everyone knows what their job is. Sometimes things get a bit messy with the dirt and the equipment but that’s just the nature of farm work. We don't have a polished showroom. If you come by you’ll see us in our work clothes doing whatever needs to be done that day. It's honest work and it keeps us going. We’ve been at this 135J address for many years now. It is just a basic farm operation that serves the people around here.
