C Ag Of India

Our office is in Marshall House, which is one of those old buildings on Strand Road that feels like a maze. We’re on the 6th floor in room 611. Taking the lift up can be an adventure because it’s quite old and moves pretty slow. Once you get to C Ag Of India, it’s just a regular office space. We have high ceilings and those old-style windows that let in a lot of light from the river side. There are four of us working here most days. We handle a lot of paperwork related to our business, and the desks are usually covered in folders and stacks of paper. It’s not a very modern setup; we still use some of the same filing cabinets that were here when I started. Strand Road is always noisy with the horns and the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls. Mostly, it’s just a calendar and some notes tacked up near the phones. Sometimes we walk down to the river during our lunch break just to get some air away from the office. Being in Marshall House is nice because everyone knows the building and it's easy to explain where we are. We just keep our heads down and do our work. It’s a long day sometimes, especially with the commute, but we get the job done at Room 611 without much complaining.
