We are located over at 524-B Rabindra Sarani, which is one of those streets that never seems to get any quieter no matter what time it is. The building is an older one and we have been operating out of here for quite some time now. Dealing with agricultural marketing means there is a lot of back and forth with different farmers and buyers across the state. We spend a lot of our mornings on the phone or sitting through meetings to figure out where the crops are going and how the prices are looking. The office is usually filled with the smell of old paper and sometimes the dust from the street comes in through the windows. It’s not the most modern place in the world but it serves its purpose for the work we do. We have a few wooden desks and some old metal filing cabinets that are stuffed with records from years ago. People come in to discuss their marketing needs or to drop off forms that need processing. Rabindra Sarani is a tough place to navigate if you are driving, so most people just take the tram or walk from the nearest station. It is a very busy environment but we have gotten used to the pace over the years. We just focus on keeping the records straight and making sure the cooperation between the different parties stays on track without too much trouble for anyone involved.
