R. Security System

Our shop is located on A.J.C. Bose Road in the Garia area. We’re really close to the Kabi Nazrul Metro Station, which makes it easy for people to find us even if they aren’t from right around here. The metro brings a lot of foot traffic past our door every day. We work with security systems, so our walls are usually covered with cameras, sensors, and different types of wiring. It’s a bit of a maze of cables sometimes. We spend a lot of our day testing equipment or going out to install things at nearby houses and shops. It’s just a small group of us running the place. We aren't corporate types; we’re more comfortable with a screwdriver in our hands than a laptop. The traffic on the road outside can be pretty loud, especially during rush hour. We usually have a fan going to keep the humidity down. Sometimes customers come in with broken parts and we see what we can do to fix them up. It’s a practical business. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and we like the vibe of the neighborhood. There’s always something going on near the station. We just open up in the morning and see what the day brings us. Our old sign flickers a bit at night but we haven't gotten around to fixing it yet.
