The office is pretty basic and functional. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that do not always close right, and a lot of paper logbooks stacked up. Managing security isn't very exciting most of the time. It involves a lot of phone calls and checking on people’s shifts to make sure everyone is where they should be. We have guards coming in and out all day to pick up their uniforms or report on how their day went. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road is always busy, so the sound of traffic is something we just live with. There is a tea stall just down the road where we go when we need a short break from the paperwork. The walls are painted a dull color and we have a few chairs for people who are waiting to be interviewed. It is not a high-tech operation, just us keeping things organized on paper and computer screens. Sometimes the schedules get messy when someone calls in sick, and we have to scramble to find a replacement at the last minute. It is a lot of coordination and talking. We have been at this address for several years now, and the neighbors are used to seeing us around. We do not have a mission statement or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the posts are filled and the clients are okay. It is a practical business run by regular people.
