The Managers

Our spot is at 62 Hemanta Basu Sarani, specifically in Paddapukur Lane. The Managers is a small operation and we have been in this lane for a while. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but it is quieter back here. We have a small room with a few desks and some old wooden cabinets where we keep all the files. The lighting isn't the best, but it works for what we do. We spend most of the day looking over papers and making sure the accounts are right. It is a lot of sitting and talking on the phone. Sometimes we step out into the lane for a break or to grab a snack from the nearby vendors. The building itself is nothing special to look at, just an old brick structure. We have some posters on the wall that have been there for years. The routine is the same every day. We open the shutters, dust off the desks, and start going through the mail. There is no corporate ladder here or anything like that. We are just a few people trying to keep things organized. The lane gets a bit muddy when it rains, so we have to be careful coming in. It is just a regular place where we do our management tasks and try to keep everything running smoothly without much fuss.
