Purposeful Planet Foundation

We started Purposeful Planet Foundation right here in Kolkata, tucked away on the ground floor of 3b Ahiripuk First Lane. It’s a busy spot near Beck Bagan, and most days you’ll find some of us sitting around the office figuring out what needs to get done next. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It isn't a huge space, but it works for what we do. People often walk right past the door because the lane is a bit narrow and quiet compared to the main streets nearby. There isn't much to see from the outside, just a regular office door where we keep our files and meet up. We don't really do the fancy corporate thing with big signs or glass walls. It's just a place where the work happens. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes the lane a bit messy, but that's just part of being in this part of town. We spend our mornings checking emails and talking to folks who drop by. It’s a simple setup. We chose this location because it’s central enough for everyone to reach but far enough from the noise of the bigger roads. Most of the furniture inside is old, and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we’re more focused on the daily tasks than how the office looks. We’re just a small group of people trying to keep things moving forward from our little corner of West Bengal. It’s home to us.
