Proshikhhan

Proshikhhan is located in the 700129 area of Kolkata. We’ve set up our space here to give people a place to learn new things and get some training. It isn’t a massive corporate office or anything like that, just a functional space where work gets done. Most of us who work here live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. The rooms are plain, and we have the usual equipment you’d expect for a training center. Sometimes the power goes out, or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it like everyone else in the city. We spend our mornings getting materials ready and our afternoons working with the people who come in for sessions. It’s a quiet enough spot most of the time. We don’t do much advertising; mostly people just hear about us from their neighbors or friends. We try to be helpful and answer questions when people drop by to ask about what we do. It’s a practical environment. There’s a lot of paperwork sometimes, and the days can feel long, but it’s part of the job. We wanted a place that felt grounded and accessible to everyone around here. You won’t find any marble floors here, just some sturdy tables and people who are trying to share what they know. That’s pretty much the story of Proshikhhan. We’re just here in the local community doing our bit for anyone who wants to pick up some new skills.
