Private Tutor

Being located near Baranagar State Hospital means it is always busy around here. We are tucked away at D3, 7A on Nabin Chandra Das Road in Sinthee. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter once you get off the main road. I’ve been tutoring for quite some time now. The room we use has a big wooden table and enough chairs for whoever shows up that day. Students from around Kolkata 700050 usually find us through friends or family. It's not a big school or a center with a lobby. It’s just a place where learning happens. Sometimes it’s one-on-one, other times a small group sits together. We go through math, science, or whatever else is on the syllabus for that week. There is a lot of scratching of pens on paper. I’ve seen kids grow up from middle school through their final exams right at this table. It's a bit of a trek for some, but being near the hospital makes it easy to give directions. The fan overhead makes a bit of a clicking sound, but we’re used to it. We don't have a website or anything like that. Just the name Private Tutor and our address. People know where we are. It’s about getting the work done every evening. It feels good when a student finally understands a tough concept. That's why we stay here and keep the sessions going year after year.
