Prabhati Reach Foundation

We've been over here at 489 Madurdaha in Kalikapur for a while now. It's a busy spot in Kolkata, right on the first floor. If you’re looking for the Prabhati Reach Foundation, you’ll find us in flat 1A(W). The building is pretty easy to spot once you get into the 700107 area. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the daily work that comes our way. It isn't always quiet around here, especially with the West Bengal traffic outside, but we like it that way. Usually, someone is around the office handling the paperwork or talking to people from the neighborhood who stop by. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a regular workspace with desks and chairs and too many files. Sometimes the fan makes a bit of noise, but we get used to it. People in Kalikapur know us as the folks who are always in and out of the building. Most of our days are spent just dealing with whatever tasks are on the desk that morning. We started this because there was a need for it, and we just stayed. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a group of us trying to keep things moving forward. If you are walking around Madurdaha, you’ll probably see our sign. It feels good to be part of the local community here in Kolkata. We just do what we can, day by day.
