Paghya Tirtho Coaching Center

We’ve been at 168/1 Dinendra Street for a while now. It’s a busy part of Kolkata, but we like it here. People around the neighborhood know us as Paghya Tirtho Coaching Center. It’s mostly just us helping students with their lessons every day. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the batches change over, but that is just how it is. We don't have fancy furniture or anything, just enough chairs and tables for everyone to sit and study properly. The building is an old one, typical for this part of North Kolkata. We start early in the morning and sometimes the last classes go on until quite late in the evening. Students come here after their school hours, looking a bit tired but ready to get through their syllabus. We try to keep things simple. There isn't a big office staff or anything like that. If you drop by, you will probably see us busy with some notebooks or explaining a math problem on the board. It’s honest work. We have been part of this street for years and we’ve seen many kids grow up and move on to college. The rain sometimes leaks a bit near the window during monsoon, but we manage. Most of the families living around Dinendra Street know where to find us if their children need some extra help with their school subjects. It is just a regular place where learning happens without much fuss.
