Bose Road is a major artery in Kolkata, so there is always a lot of traffic and movement outside. Our office is a fairly standard space. We have enough room for our small team to work comfortably on our various business and solution projects. Most of our work involves sitting at our desks and going through files or working on our computers. It’s the kind of work that requires a lot of focus, so we try to keep the office relatively quiet, although you can always hear the city sounds from the street below. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a lot of modern decor. It’s just a functional office where we get things done. We have a little area where we keep the water cooler and a small stove for making tea. It’s important to have a good cup of tea during the day. Our team has been together for a while, so we work well with each other without needing a lot of formal meetings. We just talk across the desks when something needs to be discussed. We don’t use any corporate jargon or try to sound like a big multinational company. We are just a local LLP doing our part to help our clients with their business needs in a practical, honest way.
