It’s one of those older buildings where the elevator is a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. Being up on the fifth floor gives us a decent view of the street below, which is always packed with people and vendors. The office itself is pretty crammed with folders and boxes. We manage hotels and resorts from this little spot. It’s mostly just a few of us answering phones and trying to keep the bookings straight. Sometimes we share snacks when someone brings something from home. It’s not the kind of place you see in movies. There are stacks of paper everywhere and the printer jams at least once a day.
