Regent House is an old building with a lot of history, and you can feel it when you walk in. We are situated on the 4th floor at 12 Govt Place East. Being right here in Kolkata means we see all sorts of weather and all kinds of people. ONTRACK CONSULTANCY SERVICES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED is basically a one-person show most of the time, given the OPC part, but there's always someone around helping out. The office space has high ceilings and large windows that let in some light, though the view isn't much besides other buildings. It’s a busy area, so there’s always a hum of city life coming from the street below. I spend a lot of time looking at spreadsheets and answering emails that seem to multiply overnight. It's not a glamorous life, but it's honest work. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power flickers, but that's just part of being in this part of town. I don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what happens here. It's just consultancy work, plain and simple. People come in with problems, and I try to find a way to fix them. I’ve lived in West Bengal my whole life, so I know how things move here. It’s about being steady and showing up every morning. I usually keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. Just a normal office.
