Oasis

Oasis is located at 42 Green Avenue in the Santoshpur area of Jadavpur. It’s a nice part of Kolkata with plenty of trees around, hence the name of the street. Our place is quite small, just a simple setup where we handle our daily business. We’ve been here for a good while now. The building is a bit old, but it has character. You can see the wear on the steps. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one so people can find us. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and some filing cabinets that probably need sorting out. We spend most of our mornings answering calls and dealing with whatever comes through the door. It’s a bit humid here most of the year, so the fan is always clicking away. We know the tea stall guy around the corner quite well. He brings us tea twice a day. It’s a very local way of working. We aren't looking to move to a big office block anytime soon. We like the pace here. Jadavpur is a busy place, but our little corner of Santoshpur is relatively calm. Sometimes the street gets flooded when it rains heavily, and we have to hop over puddles to get inside. It’s just part of living in Kol 700075. We keep things simple and try to be helpful to anyone who stops by. It’s a modest living but it suits us just fine. We just take it day by day.
