O2 Vip Hotel

Our place, O2 Vip Hotel, is located right on VIP Road near the Kolkata Airport. Specifically, we are at Rgm 643, which is right beside the VIP Haldiram, so most people don't have much trouble finding us. Being this close to the airport means we deal with a lot of people who are either exhausted from a long flight or rushing to catch one at three in the morning. It makes for a weird schedule for us. We are always awake. The noise from the traffic on VIP Road is constant, but inside we try to keep things as calm as we can. We aren't a big corporate chain. We’re just a local business trying to make sure travelers have a decent place to sleep for a night or two. Sometimes the lobby gets crowded with luggage and people checking their watches. We just try to get everyone their keys as fast as possible. The humidity in Kolkata can be tough on the building, so we’re always painting or fixing something to keep it looking okay. We don't have any fancy speeches about what we do. We just provide rooms and make sure the air conditioning is running well before a guest walks in. It’s a straightforward business in a very busy part of 700052. We see thousands of faces every year, each one just passing through. It's a lot of work but it keeps us busy every day.
