Nigehbaan Foundation is over on Alimuddin Street in Kolkata. The exact spot is 1C, right in the middle of all the city noise and 700016 bustle. Kolkata is a busy place, and Alimuddin Street has its own character. We’ve been here for some time now, just doing our thing from this city address. It’s a typical Kolkata building, nothing too fancy but it works for us. We don’t have a big marketing team or anyone writing polished speeches. It’s just us in the office, answering calls and dealing with whatever comes through the door. The street outside is usually full of people and traffic, which keeps things interesting. You can hear the city sounds all day long. We like being in the heart of Kolkata because everything is close by. It’s a practical location for a foundation. We don't spend money on big signs or bright lights. Most people who need us just find their way to Alimuddin Street. It’s a bit crowded sometimes, and the stairs might be a little steep, but that’s just how these old Kolkata buildings are. We are just a group of people trying to keep things organized from our small space. No corporate fluff, just a real office in a real neighborhood. We stay busy with the daily tasks and don't worry much about being "polished." It’s just how we operate.
