M/S Moti Lall Roy

You can find M/S Moti Lall Roy over at 34, Natabar Paul Road. It is an old building and we have been here for quite a while now. The road outside is usually packed with trucks and rickshaws, so it can get pretty loud during the day. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, mostly filled with the smell of metal and old paper. We have stacks of registers and parts everywhere you look. It isn't the most modern setup you will ever see, but it works for us and our customers. We spend a lot of time just sorting through things to find what is needed. Most of the customers are people from the neighborhood or workshops nearby who have known us forever. We don't really change much around here. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit and the walls could probably use some paint, but that’s low on the list of priorities for us. We are more focused on getting the orders right and helping the people who come in. My family has been involved with this for a long time. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and checking the handwritten lists. Sometimes the rain makes the street outside a bit of a mess, but we still open up. It’s a steady kind of life. We talk to the same suppliers and handle the same kinds of requests day in and day out. There is something nice about the routine of it all. We just keep things moving along.
