Mitra Tutorial

We are tucked away on Duttabad Road in Salt Lake City-Bidhan Nagar. It's usually pretty quiet around here during the mornings, though. By the time afternoon hits, you can hear the kids walking down the street toward the center. We spend a lot of time just organizing papers and getting the benches ready. It isn’t a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where we sit down and go over lessons. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but nobody really minds once the work starts. The 700064 area is busy, but our little corner feels okay. Most days involve just checking homework and explaining things until it gets dark outside. We have been in this spot for a bit, so the locals know where we are. It’s a simple setup with some desks and a lot of chalk dust. You can see the street from the window, and sometimes we get distracted by the tea stall nearby. Usually, we are just focused on whatever chapter we are on that day. It is a lot of reading and writing, over and over. Nothing too complicated, just the daily routine of a tutorial center in Kolkata. We keep things pretty informal. If someone is late, they just slide into their seat. It’s just how things go here at Mitra Tutorial. There are piles of notebooks everywhere and sometimes the electricity cuts out for a few minutes, but we just carry on and do what needs doing. It is what it is, really.
