Millennium Zone Consultancy Services (Opc) Private Limited is over at 15 Lower Range. It is a bit different from the big office blocks because it is c/o Aftab Hussain's place. It feels more like a home that turned into a workspace. We don't have a lobby or a security guard at a front desk. You just come to the address in Kolkata and there we are. The area is a bit tucked away, which makes it feel a little more relaxed than being right on the main road. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our computers and all the files we need. It is a small operation. Most of the time it is just a few of us sitting around talking about what needs to be done next. We don't have big meetings with slides. We just talk across the desks. The atmosphere is pretty quiet compared to the rest of the city. We have a few plants near the window that someone remembers to water once in a while. It is a very normal, low-key way to work. We like it this way because there is no pressure to look a certain way. We just focus on the tasks at hand. It is an honest way to spend the day. Nothing too fancy, just a dedicated space where we can get our work finished and then head home to our families when the clock finally hits five.
