Md. Enterprise

We are located out in Village Sathatia, which is part of the Bhanslia post office area in Deganga. It’s quite a way out in the North 24 Parganas district. Life here is much slower than in the city. Our business, Md. Enterprise, is basically run out of a small building near the main village path. We deal with whatever needs doing in the local area, mostly helping out with supplies and small-scale trade. The roads can get pretty muddy when it rains heavily, which happens a lot around here. We have to plan everything around the weather and the local transport. Most of the people working here are from the village itself, so we all know each other’s families. It’s not a fancy setup with computers and air conditioning. We mostly use paper ledgers and keep things stored in the back room where it stays cool. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside until it comes back on. It’s a practical way of living and working. We’ve been in Sathatia for a long time, and my family has always been part of this community. Dealing with the police station paperwork in Deganga or heading to the post office in Bhanslia is just part of the weekly routine. We just try to get the work done and stay out of trouble. It’s a quiet life in the district, and we are content with how things are moving along slowly but surely.
