Started this place over at B7/7A in Baguiati because there wasn't much for kids to do after school except wander around. It's right near Joramandir, so you can usually hear the bells or the traffic from the main road while we're sitting inside. The room isn't huge, just some desks and a whiteboard that won't ever stay completely white no matter how much we scrub it. Students come in around four or five in the evening, dropping their heavy bags on the floor and complaining about their day. We just sit down and get to work on whatever chapter is bothering them. It's mostly algebra and geometry, stuff that makes people's heads spin. Some days it gets pretty hot under the fan, and we have to open the windows even if the street noise comes in. It's a simple setup. We don't have fancy chairs or air conditioning, just a place to study where it feels like home. Sometimes parents wait outside for their kids and chat with each other. It’s just how things go here. We spend a lot of time looking at old textbooks and trying to figure out why the answers in the back don't match our work. It’s a bit messy sometimes with papers everywhere, but it works for us. We're just here every day, making sure the kids actually finish their homework before they head back home for dinner.
