Our office is located at 36/1/J Kabi Guru Sarani in Kolkata. It’s a bit of a specific address, so we often have to tell people to look for the turnoff near the main road. The building itself is pretty standard for this neighborhood. We are tucked into a space that fits our desks and the shelves full of documents we’ve collected. Working here means dealing with the usual Kolkata weather and the sounds of the neighborhood. We aren't a big operation with hundreds of employees; it’s just a small team of us who show up every morning. We handle a lot of consulting work, which mostly involves looking at screens and talking to people on the phone. The office isn't decorated with anything special, just some old calendars and maybe a plant that someone forgets to water occasionally. We spend a lot of time just grinding through the tasks that come our way. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, or the tea stall downstairs is out of milk, but we manage. We don’t have a lot of corporate rules about what to wear or how to sit; we just want to get the job done so we can go home on time. It is a straightforward place for straightforward work. No one here is trying to impress anyone with big words or fancy office furniture.
